Amazon Prime Video has big plans in India. Unveiling its biggest slate yet at its first Prime Video Presents India showcase event in Mumbai recently, they announced over 40 new titles, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, across original series, original movies and co-productions, which he plans to launch or release over the next 24 months.
Here is the price we can expect from the platform.
Original Scripted Series:
- Emmay Entertainment Adhoura (Hindi): A supernatural thriller set in an elite boarding school run by Gauravv Chawla and Ananya Banerjee and starring Ishwak Singh and Rasika Dugal.
- Excel media key Bambai Meri Jaan (Hindi): In his quest to clean the streets of Mumbai from organized crime, an honest cop puts everything on the line. Starring Kay Kay Menon and Kritika Kamra.
- Dharmatic Entertainment Call me Bae (Hindi): Bae, a billionaire fashionista, is disowned by her ultra-rich family.
- Owl Films’ Intensive course (Hindi): A fictional account of two warring coaching institutes run by Vijay Maurya.

- Northstar Entertainment Dhootha (Telugu): In this supernatural horror, possessed inanimate objects wreak havoc in the lives of people who commit deadly sins. Directed by: Vikram K. Kumar and starring Naga Chaitanya and Parvathy Thiruvothu.
- D2R Films’ Farzi (Hindi): A little artist working in his grandfather’s printing shop has devised the ultimate scam. Directed by Raj & DK and starring Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon and Regina Cassandra.

- Maddock Films’ jee karda (Hindi) is a coming of age series Directed by Arunima Sharma, it stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Suhail Nayyar
- Reliance Entertainment Jubilee (Hindi): Set in a newly independent India, this period drama unravels the stories and dreams that gave birth to the Hindi film industry. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, it stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparashakti Khurana and Wamiqa Gabbi.
