We use an app to track our newborns’ diaper/sleep/feeding schedule called sprout. My wife and I use this app on our iPhone 12 because we can save things on our Apple watch or one of our phones. We also use a Eufy Security app to keep an eye on the baby with the baby monitors while he sleeps in the crib.
As we both go back to work, my mom and dad are going to help with the baby at home. Mom has an iphone and dad uses android. To make life easier, we thought we’d get an iPad so we could load the app to track our kids’ diaper/sleep/food (called sprout social) and the Eufy app so that they can keep an eye on him when he’s in the crib. .
The problem is, I don’t want my parents to see all my phone calls, texts, emails, and photos on the iPad. When researching, I was a bit shocked that there was no way to switch accounts on the iPad because I thought I could just create a “guest” account or something.
Is the only way to create a new Apple ID and link iPad to that Apple ID? if so, that kind of crap because it limits the usefulness of the ipad for the other things my wife and I were happy to use it for (forwarding, replying to texts, clicking youtube links at from texts on the bigger screen, photo editing, etc.).
Appreciate your thoughts and any help you can provide!
