Two upcoming products from Dungeons & Dragons, Journeys through the Radiant Citadel and Campaign Case: Fieldhave been delayed.
Dungeons & Dragonsa role-playing game published by Wizards of the Coast, announced yesterday that “due to significant supply chain issues, the release date of Journeys through the Radiant Citadel has been delayed. It will now be available on the D&D Beyond account[s] July 19.” In addition, Campaign Case: Field will now be released on August 16, 2022. The other two Dungeons & Dragons products arriving this year are not affected by the delay; Campaign Case: Creatures will still debut on July 19, 2022, and Spelljammer: Adventures in Space on August 16, 2022.
Journeys through the Radiant Citadel is a magical peek into the Ethereal Plane. The collection of 13 standalone adventures centers on the Radiant Citadel, a mysterious city located in the Ethereal Plane. The book contains challenges for characters from levels 1 to 14 and offers a range of themes that will suit all players, from the lightest to the most sinister. Each of the 13 experiments can be run alone or as part of a larger campaign.
Campaign Case: Field is a toolkit for Dungeon Masters and contains various useful items for tabletop play. Features include 30 double-sided tiles that can be used to create a custom map and a double-sided terrain grid with wild terrain on one side and a dungeon on the other. The double-sided terrain grid can be paired with the included tiles and token sheets to increase the adventure of any campaign. Dungeon Masters can use Campaign Case: Field as a companion of Campaign Case: Creatures or alone. Equipped in the same way as the other field suitcase, creatures contains 64 weighted discs of varying sizes and five sheets of reusable creature stickers that can be applied to the tokens.
One of the most anticipated upcoming J&D versions, Spelljammer: Adventures in Space, is an epic campaign that gives players the chance to explore the farthest reaches of their world. The title comes from the magical sailboats, the Spelljammer Helmets, which allow player characters to venture into space. The boxed set includes everything groups will need to get started in the game, including an Adventurer’s Guide, Dungeon Master book, 64-page playable campaign for level 5-8 characters, and a single-sided map. back.
In April, Wizards of the Coast acquired D&D Beyond, a set of digital tools for the game. To celebrate the occasion, Dungeons & Dragons digitally released two free books for all users through D&D Beyond: Phandelver Lost Minean adventure campaign start, and Incorporated Acquisitions, a fantastic rulebook on how to run a company in the world. Whereas Phandelver Lost Mine will be permanently available for new and existing accounts, players only have until May 26 to claim their copy of Incorporated Acquisitions.
