HBO Max might be one of the fastest growing video streaming services despite the growing number of competitors since HBO Max launched in 2020.
Even when Netflix’s streaming faithful reported a loss of subscribers earlier this year, HBO Max and HBO reported gaining subscribers. The two together had nearly 50 million subscribers in the United States alone in the first quarter of 2022.

How it works
HBO Max is a streaming service from HBO, both of which are part of WarnerMedia.
The streaming service gives you access to the same programming available on HBO as well as exclusive originals, Warner Bros. recently launched and more.
HBO Max currently offers two packages:
- With advertisements: $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year (saving you 16%)
- Without advertising: $14.99 per month or $149.99 per year (which also saves 16%)
